LG Chemical polycarbonate shell secured by a rigid aluminum perimeter frame. The polycarbonate absorbs impact on contact and recovers its shape without cracking or warping. The aluminum EdgeFrame seals the closure along the full perimeter and holds the case geometry under pressure, trip after trip. Two materials, each doing what the other cannot. Flex where it needs to.
