Referral Terms

Effective Date of Current Policy: March 2, 2025

As a member of Portar's Refer-a-Friend Program (a "Referrer"), you are subject to Portar's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, as well as the additional terms set forth below. Unless defined here, all capitalized terms carry the same meaning as in our Terms and Conditions.

1. DEFINITIONS

Referrer. Any individual who is otherwise eligible to participate may become a member of Portar's Refer-a-Friend Program by accessing their unique referral link through their Portar account, referral email, or at portar.co/referrals. The referral program is powered by sorae.io.

Referred Friend. A person in the United States who arrives at the Site using a Referrer's unique referral link. The Referred Friend and the Referrer cannot be the same person (for example, by using a different email address), as determined at Portar's sole discretion.

Qualified Referral. A Qualified Referral is defined as a first-time purchase of Products made via the Site by a Referred Friend, where the purchase is made by a person located in the United States for shipping to an address in the United States. There is no minimum purchase amount.

Referral Reward. A discount code in the amount of US$40, awarded to the Referrer for each Qualified Referral, with a maximum of ten (10) Qualified Referrals per Referrer.

2. HOW IT WORKS

• Log into your Portar account and access your unique referral link through your account dashboard, referral email, or at https://portar.co/pages/friends.
• Share your unique link with friends and family via email, social media, or by copying the link directly.
• When a Referred Friend clicks your link, they will be directed to a landing page where they can enter their email to receive a unique discount code for US$40 off their first purchase.
• When the Referred Friend uses this code to make a purchase that qualifies as a Qualified Referral:
  • The Referred Friend receives US$40 off their purchase.
  • The Referrer receives a Referral Reward in the form of a US$40 discount code.

Referral Rewards will be emailed to the Referrer within 14 days following a Qualified Referral purchase.

Referral Rewards can only be used for the purchase of Products via portar.co and are not redeemable for cash or gift cards. Referral Rewards may only be redeemed for purchases made in United States Dollars.

Each individual Referrer may earn a maximum of ten (10) Qualified Referrals, for a maximum possible Referral Reward total of US$400.

As a Referrer, you are responsible for any and all tax liability resulting from Referral Rewards.

3. LIMITATIONS

A Referrer's unique referral link may not be shared, sold, or distributed in any way except by the Referrer alone to obtain Qualified Referrals. Referral links shared to or obtained through third-party intermediary websites, coupon aggregators, or discount sites will not be honored.

Referrers are limited to one (1) Qualified Referral per Referred Friend. Additional or repeat purchases made by the same Referred Friend do not count as additional Qualified Referrals.

Referral Rewards earned by a Referrer may be combined with other Referral Rewards earned by that same Referrer on a single order, up to a maximum of five (5) Referral Rewards per order.

Referral Rewards may not be combined with any other promotional offer, discount, or coupon code, including but not limited to: welcome offers, bundle discounts, and any Products already marked down or on sale.

4. ELIGIBILITY

Portar's Refer-a-Friend Program is limited to individual consumers making personal referrals to friends and family. The program may not be used by businesses or individuals for affiliate lead generation, commercial solicitation, or posting on discount or coupon sites.

5. COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAW

As a Referrer, you agree to comply with all applicable law, including but not limited to the CAN-SPAM Act. Any distribution of your referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or "spam" under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of your account and exclusion from the program.

6. RIGHT TO TERMINATE ACCOUNTS

Portar reserves the right to terminate the account of any Referrer or Referred Friend at any time and without notice, including but not limited to cases where we, at our sole discretion, determine that conduct violates these Referral Program Terms.

7. RIGHT TO CANCEL PROGRAM OR CHANGE TERMS

Portar reserves the right to cancel the Refer-a-Friend Program and to revise these terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated terms on portar.co. If the program is terminated, any unclaimed Referral Rewards will be forfeited at that time.
